Welcome!
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Estacion Biológica de Doñana CSIC.  I study how ecological and evolutionary processes shape biodiversity, disease dynamics, and the resilience of natural populations in a rapidly changing world. My research combines field ecology with genetic and genomic approaches to understand how environmental change, including climate change, habitat fragmentation and other human activities, influences host–parasite–vector interactions, the emergence of infectious diseases, and the health of wildlife populations. Through a One Health perspective, I investigate the links between biodiversity, ecosystem health, and human health. Ultimately, my goal is to improve our understanding of biological and ecological risks while contributing to biodiversity conservation and the prediction, surveillance, and control of emerging infectious diseases.​
