Welcome!
I am a molecular ecologist, which broadly means that I use molecular tools to answer ecological questions. My research
lies at the intersections of genetics/genomics, evolutionary ecology, and conservation. I combine information obtained in the field with the use of genetic and genomic tools to understand host-parasite interactions, and how demographic and ecological factors shape population genetic diversity and affect individual fitness and population viability. My ultimate goals are to understand the factors that affect the well-being of wild populations and to help improve the protection of endangered species.

Currently I am a Marie Curie Fellow with Jordi Figuerola's lab at the Estacion Biológica de Doñana.
